Absolutely! These sessions are for you. Bring your questions and participate during Q&A.

To get the most out of this workshop, you’ll be required to post-edit a 700 word text prior to each workshop and complete a survey. These tasks will enable us to measure MT post-editing productivity before and after the workshop and give you insights into how post-editing training can affect speed and accuracy.

  • Workshop - Join the live online session, November 3rd, 2021, to learn post-editing tips and tricks to boost your productivity.

  • Post-Editing Task - Complete another 700 word post-editing task applying the methods you learnt in session 1 by November 12th, 2021.

  • Workshop - Join the live online session, December 13th, 2021, to see how post-editing training affects productivity.

  • Certificate - All attendees who complete both post-editing tasks and attend both sessions will receive a participation certificate.

Viveta is Translation & Localization Industry Specialist at Intertranslations S.A. Having more than 15 years of experience as a Linguist and Vendor Manager, she recently decided to combine her expertise and know-how to become a Language Solutions Specialist. With an MA in Translation and New Technologies from the Ionian University, her focus is to promote the new trends in the industry, where translation skills meet MT technology. Machine Translation Post-Editing tools, techniques and training are amongst her fields of interest and the key fields of her PhD research.
She is member of the GALA MTPE Training Initiative Steering Committee.


Intertranslations is an ISO certified international translation and localization company with offices in London and Athens and main services: translation, revision, transcreation, transcription, MT services, Machine Translation Post-Editing and MT evaluation. We provide bespoke solutions via a collaborative and partnership model and cover all language combinations and all industry specialisations. Our clients include leading international firms, global financial institutions, life science organisations and EU institutions.

Lucía Guerrero is Machine Translation Specialist at CPSL and affiliated teacher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting as well as in Humanities. With more than 20 years’ experience in the localization industry as a linguist and Project Manager, she is currently in charge of CPSL’s MT strategy.
Her tasks include training and evaluating MT systems, designing custom-tailored MTPE workflows and training post-editors and CPSL’s staff on MTPE. She is an occasional speaker at events such as AMTA, Asling and GALA, and member of the GALA MTPE Training Initiative Steering Committee.

Lucía Guerrero

Machine Translation Specialist

CPSL is an LSP with more than 50 years of experience in advising clients on how best to manage their multilingual content and projects, whether they involve software or website localization, multimedia or interpreting services. Headquartered in Barcelona (Spain), CPSL has offices in Madrid, Germany and Boston. Holder of 4 quality standards, CPSL was involved in the development of ISO 18587, the industry's quality certification for post-editing in machine translation output, which was published in April 2017.
